The CHAIR-man

Lately, I’ve noticed that there is a trend amongst MTB blogs to show humorous falls and crashes. In all honesty, I think some of these wipe-outs are hilarious and it’s no wonder they are all posted on YouTube.

However, cyclists aren’t the only ones cursed by the little thing known as gravity. Just last week, the funniest video of all time found its way onto the net.

Last Tuesday morning, Parliament’s finance committee chairperson, Nhlanhla Nene was interviewed on SABC 2’s View from the House. During the interview, a cracking sound is heard, a few seconds later it is followed by another cracking sound and he falls to the floor still trying to grasp to the table.

This video has managed to find itself onto the homepage of BBC and has become a huge hit around the world. In short, the CHAIR-man has become an internet phenomenon.

This just goes to show that cyclists aren’t the only ones prone to accidents :)
